Plastic
Plastic granulating doesn’t have to be difficult. There are some key points to follow to ensure your plastic waste is suitable for recycling or resale after it has gone through the granulation process.
- Plastic going through a granulator or shredder should be separated into different types
- The plastic must also be separated from other types of material such as metal or wood and be clean or any residue
- Plastic should be made into as small pieces as possible, which may mean a process of shredding then granulation, so that pieces can be melted down
Most plastics have identification marks to help with the separating process. Such plastics as: High Density Polyethylene (HDPE ), Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) and Polypropylene (PP) are sometimes difficult to distinguish but we are on hand to help assist with any technical issues.
Our leading granulation technology is some of the best machinery from Germany and includes Neue Herbold granulators.
