Finishing Fume Extraction

At the end of the manufacturing process, there are still dangers that need to be avoided. Dust particles from metal can easily be extracted, using one of our many dust extraction systems.

The finishing process within manufacturing lines generally encompasses metal work, which will need some sort of fume extraction in place. This process does what it says, it finishes the product so that it is protected from corrosion and wear. Many chemicals are involved during this end process and factory staff need adequate protection from fumes.

These fumes may be in the form of vapour and mist, which can easily be captured and extracted with the correct system fitted. A Local Exhaust Ventilation system (LEV) is the name given to this type of system, which will need to be tested in accordance with COSHH Regulations to ensure the efficiency is at the highest possible standard.
